This therapy is offerred as a method to reduce enduration (ie focal as well as patchy areas). The treatment is a high intensity light that feels much like being popped by a rubber band. It is otherwise relatively pain free and the duration is very short lived. The acute residual post procedure is a 'flushed' appearance that slowly resolves within the next 4-6 hours. Results most likley vary from patient to patient, but my experience has demostrated little results to date.
Recommendation is that if cost is not an issue, the benefits 'may' be there, but one should set realistic expectations in terms of their desired end result/appearance.
