I had two IPL treatments on my entire face to remove brown pigmentation. First treatment was quite painful. Afterwards my face was really red and sore and all my age spots had darkened. I looked weird for the next few days but after about 5 days the brown spots flaked off, and by 10 days they were all gone. Afterwards my skin looked lovely and clear. I didn't feel like I needed another session because my skin already looked great, but I thought if one was good, two would be even better. The second treatment wasn’t as painful but didn’t have the same amazing effect, essentially because almost all my age spots had been zapped by the first treatment. In fact I feel like my skin might look a bit redder now. Anyway, I’m still glad I had the treatment. I think I should have taken up the offer of a follow up appointment with the doctor because maybe we would have decided not to go ahead through with the second treatment.

Conclusions
Skin looks clearer now, altho 2nd treatment wasn't necessary.
