I went for a solution to even out skin tone. I have normal skin with some sun damage. Was prescribed Triluna but after reading on it I am not sure due to info on cancer and increased sensitivity of steroids. Also not for long term? I want something I can use long term. Also was told to try the Obagi but I have read mixed reviews as this also contains bleaching cream - which is banned in Europe. I feel as though the dermatologists push the products they sell that have highest markup. The cleanser and toner in the Obagi system don;t look to have anything special so why wouldn't she recommend I use the Cetaphil she said she uses. She also gave me an Rx for retin-a so now I am even more uncertain which to try first.

Conclusions
I am more confused now than before the Dr visit.
