I was hoping to get rid of a red spot on my cheek by my nose.

I have a red spot about 2 mm on my cheek beside my nose. It bothers me. I leaned this laser treatment is effective on get rid of discoloration spot so I when to the doctor. It seems like the technic is not very mature. The doctor did not sound very confident about the result it will achieve. The treatment itself is easy not too much discomfort. After the treatment, it took about a week to heal and then the spot is still there, may be the color changed a little but it is hard to tell in what direction. What I learned is that I will need a solid reference before going into any treatment, especially I am Asian, and Asian skin could be different on taking the laser or other treatment.

Conclusions
I think next time I really need to get solid reference before any treatment.
