Details
I developed persistent adult acne in my late 30s - sore, reddened pimples on my forehead, temples and chin. I had no problems with acne as a teen, and have had no other issues with my skin beyond aging accelerated a bit by an outdoor-oriented lifestyle. Dr. McCrary diagnosed rosacea, which was a surprise to me - at the time I thought rosacea was reddened areas of the skin, only. She prescribed a round of tetracycline and ongoing treatment with Noritate cream. The Noritate seemed to do the trick; after a few weeks I had no more problems with pimples and I noticed my skin tone was more even (though I didn't have a significant problem with this before, my skin is fair and lightly freckled and my nose is usually a bit reddish, like I just came in from the cold). The cream formulation also worked well with my moisturizer, adding a bit of extra smoothness to my skin. I don't live in a very sunny climate so I can't say if I was more sensitive to sun with this treatment. I know it was easy and it worked - I've gotten out of the habit of using the cream sometimes and when the pimples recur, all it takes is the Noritate to clear it up and keep it at bay. Dr. McCrary was clear, approachable and professional and answered all my questions, so in spite of the long waiting time for an appointment with her (months) and the generally unhelpful attitude of the clinic's support staff I would see her anytime I need dermatological care.

Conclusions
Very good doctor
