I am in my early 30s and have started to notice fine lines around the eyes, deeper forehead lines, and a general "dull" skin appearance. My skin is dry and somewhat sensitive.
This doctor proscribed Tretinoin .05% cream with the aim of reducing the visible effects of sun damage.
After a week of continuous usage, my skin felt irritated and became very flaky. By reducing the application to once every other day, the irritation has lessened and my skin texture has stabilized. The appearance is smoother and more plump. The product instructions clearly state that you should not apply additional moisturizer within an hour of application. Since I apply the product before bedtime, I have had to counteract this with using a heavier moisturizer in the morning.
Conclusions
Doctor listens well and provides good guidance and recommendations.
