Details
I have had 2 Fraxel laser treatments so far and, although the effects so far are not dramatic, I do see where it's going. The evening-out of pigmentation is very nice. After the treatment there are about 2 days of swelling and redness when you would not want to schedule social events. Then another week of peeling and voila! a fresh face. Of course other kinds of peels could also achieve this effect, probably more slowly, but the Fraxel laser claims to also tighten the skin tone by stimulating collagen production over time. As far as this latter claim goes, the jury is still out - I plan to do 2 more treatments and will then see how much actual tightening there is. The only drawback is the cost - this one will break the piggybank. I shopped around and other dermatologists in San Francisco are charging $1200- $1500 per treatment. Eileen charges $1000 - AND she is the expert who trains all the dermatologists in using Fraxel. I think she's fabulous.

Conclusions
I highly recommend Eileen Jordan and the Fraxel laser treatment.

Price (paid by reviewer)
$1,000 per treatment
