At about 33 years of age my skin is finally starting to show the abuse and neglect from my twenties. Having very oily skin, I have large pores which can also become blocked. At the recommendation of a friend, I tried this salon. The salon itself offers wide range of treatments from reflexology to non-surgical face lifts and top of the line professionally recommended skincare products for any skin condition. The operator, Kaareen is a very experienced with a top of the range microdermabrasion system. The prodedure involves a series of treatments spaced out fortnightly. After thorough explaination of the treatment Kaaren recommended a light microdermabrasion on the first visit to allow my skin to adjust, followed by three deeper penetrating sessions. My skin was prepared by first gentle exfoliation followed by the microdermabrasion, which felt like light scratching in the skin and was not at all uncomfortable. The results were smooth skin with a healthy glow, reduced pores and fine lines and less oilyness. The salon also offers a range of Dermalogica products which I have also found beneficial to my skin condition. I would recommend this treatment to anyone looking to freshen up the appearance of their skin, wanting remove the ravages of summer or to unblock and reduce the pores. At up to US$100 per session elsewhere I found US$65 very resonable. I would recommend this salon to any one looking for a down to earth, professional approach to their skincare needs.
