Details
I had Diode Light Laser to remove broken veins and capillaries seven/eight years ago. Apparently, they do come back and do require touch-ups once in while. I had heard of IPL which is supposed to less invasive and would provide other rejuvenation benefits besides lightening pigmentation. I tried the Palomar Starlux a year ago. It worked quite well. Discomfort is minimal (just like the diode laser; not more or less). The pigmentation just flaked off the next two to four days (again just like the diode laser). It didn't do any rejuvenation, reduce pore size as the operator had claimed. I tried another clinic with another machine (VasuLight) about six months ago. It didn't do anything at all! So, last week I was back to the same clinic with the Palomar Starlux mahcine. Yes, it worked just like before - dark spots flake off in the next few days.
Conclusions
Always go with the Palomar StarLux
