Details
I go to the Independence College of Cosmetology for my facials not only because the price is right, but also because the students who have done my facials have always been friendly and informative. Everyone does it a little differently, which I enjoy, because variety is the spice of life and I always learn something new from each student on what helps with my skincare regimen. Every time I have had a facial there, I have gotten compliments on how my skin glows for up to two to three weeks AFTER I have had the facial. The facial is an hour long and more than half the price of going to a regular spa. It includes a facial massage (sometimes the girls will give a hand, neck, and arm massage too!) along with using special machines to clean the face, nice soothing music playing in the background, wonderful smelling cleansers, toners, exfoliators, moisturizers, etc. I always try to call in and ask for the most experienced student (one who is about to graduate) or one the girls at the front desk recommend. I have never been disappointed! (I have been disappointed, in the past, at regular beauty salons, because they never did nearly as much pampering as the girls at the college do).

PS: I have combination skin and am in my late forties.

Conclusions
I would highly recommend the one-hour facials at the Independence College of Cosmetology.

Price (paid by reviewer)
$27.50
