one large bruise developed after one treatment

Went in to receive IPL treatment for spider veins and UVA related brown spots on the face of a 38 year old. A course of several treatments was recommended. The treatment did successfully remove some of the visual signs of aging from the face, however during one treatment we suppose the laser was too hot and a large, deep red bruise developed. the clinic employee assured us that this was only temporary and would result in more dramatic reduction of age related issues. The bruise is still healing and has gone down pretty fast. They recommended a cream to assist in healing, that appears to be working. All in a ll a successful treatment.
