I started having laser hair removal from my upper lip, chin and underarm one year ago. The treatments finished 6 months ago. At first, I was pleased with my chin and upper lip because most of the hair had gone. My underarms were much less hairy but there was still some growth. I have some regrowth on my upper lip but none on my chin. My underarms are growing hairs but not as thick as before. My main concern is, in hindsight, the lack of thoroughness during the procedures. Three different people performed my hair removal procedures over the course of a few months; a new member of staff (obviously keen and well trained) performed my last session. It was after this session, I realised the other members of staff were rushing my procedure, not finding hairs with the magnifier and not bothering to move to the other side of the table to do my other underarm. I now have one armpit hairier than the other! I believe this is because the staff were complacent rather than the procedure being at fault. Also, before treatment could start, I had to have a patch test on all the areas to be treated. They tested the laser at different strengths and my skin didn't suffer any adverse effects from any of the frequencies. However, my laser treatments started out at a low level and gradually increased. I believe this is a rip-off and feel I would have had better results had they started with the higher frequency. I think I would have needed fewer treatments.

Conclusions
OK result, but feel this clinic ripped me off and gave me shoddy service.
