I have used retin-a daily for 20 years. I am 53 years old and have very few wrinkles, but I do have some redness and a few broken capillaries which the aesthetician said was due to retin-a use. The facial she gave me did seem to alleviate some of the redness and my skin felt much softer. She recommended that I take a break periodically to allow my skin to recover. She would like me to get a series of skin renewal facials. I'm afraid that if I stop using the retin-a, I will develop wrinkles and have to start over again with all of the side effects of retin-a.
Conclusions
I haven't come to a conclusion yet and would like more information.
