Cosmetics / Makeup Tip: Daily use of makeup with sunscreen

submitted by Anonymous

Thanks to my British Isle ancestors, I have inherited very pale, thin skin that is easily sun/wind burned and easily irritated. I have found over the past several years that I religiously apply a moisturizer containing a sunscreen followed by makeup (I have not found tremendous difference between individual products) containing a minimum 15-20 sunscreen that I have not suffered sunburn nor uneven skin tones on my face. Further, use of sunscreen products on other exposed skin surfaces on a daily basis has been beneficial also. (30+ in bright sunshine/tropical climates.) I am so sorry that I did not develop these practices in my teens and 20's!
