Nail Care Tip: Bringing problem nails back to health

submitted by Monica Dalton, Kennesaw, GA United States

Tip description / details:
I had brittle nails and cracked cuticles for which nothing seemed to work. For approximately $15.00, I purchased the Burt's Bees hand and cuticle kit that contained a pair of gloves and 2 moisturizers for hand and nail care. After about 2 weeks, I noticed the cracking and dryness had diminished substantially. In addition, I have tried gelatin tablets ($4.99 at Walgreen's), which have seemed to help my nails with the brittleness. Note - I had to take them approximately 2 months before I noticed a difference.

Results (observed by submitter):
Excellent results - my skin was far less dry and my cuticles stopped splitting. The key may be the gloves - they need to be kept on all night.

Costs involved:
about $20.00
