Skin Care Tip: Treatment of varicose veins improved leg eczema

submitted by David Scott, Liverpool, UK

I want to share my experience regarding eczema of the lower legs which I have suffered from for about 8 years. Steroid creams had kept it under control until recently. I had come back to the UK from Chicago and noticed pains in my legs. My doctor told me to keep putting the cream on. It got worse and to cut a long story short I had varicose veins in both legs. I have had the VNUS closure (www.betterlegs.co.uk) procedure carried out and after 3 weeks the pain has disappeared and my eczema seems to be improving. The main point I want to get across is that you could not visibly tell that I had varicose veins. I hope this may help others with a similar problem.
