Personal Care Tip: Improving hormonal balance with progesterone

submitted by Elvis Torres, D.O., F.A.C.O.G., Missouri City, TN USA

Tip description / details:
Most women in the US are progesterone deficient increasing their risk of breast and prostate cancer, ovarian cyst, breast cyst, weight gain, depression, mood swings, decreased sex drive and lack of energy among many other symptoms. Have your physician obtain a salivary estradiol/progesterone ratio to see if you are properly balanced. Clinically proven in multitudes of studies at leading medical centers but not publicized due to the lack of profitability of bio-identical progesterone (cannot be patented) by the pharmaceutical companies.

Ingredients:
Bio-identical progesterone cream

How to prepare:
Purchase at a compounding shop. Average cost less than $1/day.

How to use:
Twice daily. Number of days depends on menstrual status.

Results (observed by submitter):
I use it in my practice routinely for many complaints including miscarriage prevention, fibroids, depression, decreased libido, abnormal menses and many other symptoms.

Costs involved:
$60
