Skin Care Tip: Spot treatment for pimples

submitted by Susan Seiler, Livermore, CA USA

For us women who get those cyst-like pimple around our jaw line / chin during "that" time of the month, I'd like to recommend two different approaches I've used to clear up those zits quickly and cost effectively.

1) Toothpaste! Amazing, but true. Cover your pimple in toothpaste before you go to bed and in the morning it will either be gone or noticeably smaller. If not gone completely, repeat treatment the following evening. I've found that this works best with actual paste - not the toothpaste gel type.

2) If the toothpaste doesn't seem to be working or you want something else. I highly recommend using spot treatments with Sulfur (Murad or other brands). I use a clay mask with sulfur on a regular basis to help prevent those cyst-like pimples.
