Skin Care Tip: Simple things can work for better skin

submitted by Sarah, San Diego, CA

Tip description / details:
My skin care advice is quite simple but works. Ponds cold cream mixed together with drug store 100% vitamin E oil. Always use a toner to wipe away the dead skin before applying the moisturizer, which will help it be absorbed. It also works as a great/gentle eye cream. My grandmother has used cold cream her whole life. First she applies it as a mask (heavily) and then she puts on a thin layer before bed. For a women 80 plus years of age who has never used any other anti aging products, she looks amazing. As well she always protects her face from the sun. Morning and night. Perfect as an under foundation cream along with a sun block.

Ingredients:

How to prepare:
use top of hand above thumb as a palate to mix couple of drops of vitamin E into the ponds cold cream

How to use:
apply to dry/wrinkle prone areas and gently dab on as an eye cream using your ring finger

Results (observed by submitter):
very smooth, soft, wrinkle free skin

Costs involved:
$15
