Skin Care Tip: Dry, rough skin on body

submitted by natalie sharp, UK

Tip description / details:
If you have dry and wrinkled skin on your arms ,legs and chest, this is a really fast acting cure. It is also good for hands.

Ingredients:
You need a bottle of glycerin, which can be bought anywhere, and glycolic acid. Glycolic acid can be bought on line in different strengths

How to prepare:
Get a clean glass bottle and mix the glycerin with the glycolic acid at up to 15% strength depending on how sensitive your skin is. As you get used to it you can increase the strength.

How to use:
Shake the bottle and spread over the affected areas. You don't have to rub it in, it will sink in after about 5 minutes. DO NOT wash it off. It will probably sting at first, but that wears off quite quickly You must wear rubber gloves to apply the solution. Or you will have peeling palms!

Results (observed by submitter):
After a few days my skin started to look smoother. I have been using it for a few weeks and I can't believe the difference. My skin was very dry and most of that has gone. Also brown marks have faded from my hands

Costs involved:
very cheap
