Skin Care Tip: Calendula and Sea salt Scrub

submitted by Busy Mom, Oak Harbor, WA USA

Tip description / details:
Mix together approximately 1 tbsp. dried calendula flower petals (purchased from a reputable health food store) and 1/4 tsp. sea salt. You can substitute 2 tsp. fresh calendula petals if you have them. Wash your face as you usually do, then while it is still wet gently rub the petals and sea salt over your skin for approximately 30 seconds, being careful to avoid the eye area. If you have acne this is an excellent scrub, as the calendula contains a very mild natural antibiotic, and sea salt helps heal wounds. Do take care not to scrub your face hard as the salt can cause tiny painful cuts if too much pressure is applied.

Natural Sea Salt Dried or fresh calendula flower petals
