Skin Care Tip: Best Self Tanner for Pale Skin

submitted by Anonymous

After many years of searching for a believable self-tanner I discovered Neostrata Insta-Tan. I use the medium shade. It is a sunless tanner and bronzer; however, I would not suggest that you use this product and then go out in public. It goes on very dark in a green-brown shade. It is best to put it on at night and sleep with it on and then wash it off the next morning. You must use rubber gloves while applying, as it will stain your hands badly. To prevent "tanning" on areas that you do not want to tan as darkly (ie. between toes and fingers, sides of feet, knee caps) rub on some moisturizer first.

This product is not available in the US so I order from a Canadian website: globaldrug.com. It is about $19. plus shipping, which takes 2-3 weeks.

My second favorite is St. Tropez but it doesn't last nearly as long, nor is the color as good for someone who is so pale. A distant third would be Clarins.
