Skin Care Tip: Ayurvedic self-massage

submitted by Flavia Florezell, Fort Collins, CO USA

Ayurvedic self-massage is something I had read about but only recently tried - and it's wonderful. It's relaxing and nourishing for your skin, your muscles and joints, and also good for your scalp. Put a small amount of the massage oil of your choice in a glass container and place it in hot water until it warms up. Stand on a bath towel and rub it into your arms and legs eventually covering your entire body, including your scalp. Put on a bathrobe and relax for 5 to 20 minutes, then take a shower as usual. You will be amazed how many kinks get worked out and how great your skin feels.
