Skin Care Tip: Homegrown skin revitalizing

submitted by Bexi, NC USA

Tip description / details:
Potatoes and olive oil - a natural skin care. This is a very easy and natural skin revitalizer. My skin always ends up glowing and always baby soft.

Ingredients:
Raw potatoes and olive oil

How to prepare:
Just grate one or 2 potatoes then smash them through a strainer. The juice can be applied as a body wash or allowed to dry on the face for about 15 - 20 minutes then rinsed off with warm water. The left over potato mash is great mixed with a little olive oil to create a creamier paste to be used as a thicker mask if your skin is very oily. Be warned if you do have very oily skin use less olive oil but if you have very dry skin use a little extra. Use the mask for no longer than 20 minutes then rinse off with warm water.

How to use:
Apply with your fingers all over face and leave on for 15 - 20 minutes then rinse off with warm water.

Results (observed by submitter):
I did this once a week for 2 months, then after about 2 months I only needed it once or twice a month. My skin is glowing and so soft now.

Costs involved:
$2.00 - 5.00
