Skin Care Tip: Use of breathable medical tape for enlarged pores

submitted by James

Tip description / details:
I have a roll of medical tape from the hospital. One day I had a nasty spot of acne and decided to put a homemade band-aid on it made from this tape. The next day I woke and took off the tape. The skin underneath was surprisingly free of my enlarged pores. I theorize that somehow the tape kept the moisture in, which is important since I live in a desert, and plumped up the skin to close pores.

Ingredients:
Clear medical tape

How to prepare:
Prepare forehead or other target area by washing with gentle soap to remove sweat/oil buildup.

How to use:
Put over enlarged pores

Results (observed by submitter):
Reduced my enlarged pores.

Costs involved:
$3 for roll of tape
