Homemade Skin Care Recipe: Reducing swelling in the eye area

Tip description / details:
when I wake up with swollen eyes, I cut two slices of potato from a whole organic (to eliminate pesticides leaking into the eye) potato, and put one on each eye for a few minutes. The potato should be kept in the refrigerator before opening, as well as after slicing some off for use. The cold temperature adds to the soothing effect, although not necessary for reduction of swelling.

Ingredients:
organic potato

How to prepare:
slice off 2 pieces of potato.

How to use:
place on eyes for a few minutes; this can be done for longer, but after the potato is used for a while, it dries out and loses it's effectiveness. Therefore, cut new slices when potato's moistness lessens.

Results (observed by submitter):
some reduction in swelling and redness and refreshed eyes.
