Homemade Skin Care Recipe: Skin moisture from your fridge!

submitted by Judith K, Seattle, WA USA

Tip description / details:
Notice your skin needs a little more moisture, especially during the winter? My favorite at home remedy is applying Plain Yogurt! First be sure your skin is free of any makeup or dirt. Pat dry and scoop a couple tablespoons of PLAIN YOGURT around your face. I like to gently massage the yogurt in circular patterns all over. Keep the yogurt on for 15-20 minutes and remove with a warm washcloth. I follow with a mild toner. I'm told it's the live cultures in the yogurt that help soften your skin. Whatever it is, it really helps moisten my skin--which diminishes some of my not so welcome fine lines. I hope this tip is helpful to you!

Ingredients:
A simple tub of PLAIN YOGURT from your nearby grocery store. Go for the WHOLE FAT STUFF.

How to prepare:
Keep Yogurt fresh in fridge and STIR before applying.

How to use:
Use a tablespoon to scoop 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt.

Results (observed by submitter):
My skin feels very MOIST! Looks healthier.

Costs involved:
$.75!
