Homemade Skin Care Recipe: How to use yogurt in masks

submitted by Anonymous

Yogurt is used in many if not most homemade masks. Often it contains a lot of water, so when mixed with other ingredients, such as honey, fruit or eggs, the mask becomes very liquid and hard to apply. Here is a quick tip on how to get rid of water in yogurt. Take an old and preferably dry slice of bread and spread a thick layer of yogurt on it, let it stay for at least 1/2 hour. The bread acts like a sponge as it absorbs the water from the yogurt, which then becomes very thick and creamy. Afterwards, yogurt can be mixed with any other liquid ingredient and still make a thick, easy to spread paste.
