Skin Care Review: Metronidazole gel

by Stefeni, las vegas, NV, USA

Reduces inflammation and breakouts

There's been very little drawbacks except minimal dryness

For over 15 years, I've had acne prone skin, and I thought I've tried it all. Currently, I'm using metronidazole topical gel (which I would recommend the 1%), and within 3 days my inflammation, and breakouts reduced and are healing with out excess burning or peeling. It is a little drying, so over the gel, I'm using B5 serum (order on line or Sephora) for hydration which does not breakout my skin. Also, for washing my face, I use all natural products: Meyschelle at whole foods or Burt Bee's is a good one.

This is a product if you have inflammatory acne..
