Skin Care Review: Neutrogena rapid clear acne eliminating gel

by Kate Norris, Denver, CO usa

clears up breakouts, prevention also

makes skin dry, sore and flaky if you are sensitive

I AM 25, combination skin, no skin problems till university. Salycylic acid (active ingredient) supposedly only works when actually left on skin -ie no use when immediately washed off as with face washes. Needs to DRY, then a benzoyl peroxide gel (Neutrog. do one:'on the spot' - I couldn't find the oxy5 sensitive, but can online) used seperately... one breaks down oils, the other removes impurities, cant remeber which from my advice at a facial. Was also recommended Zinc picolinate supplement.... and cutting out dairy products. Prevention better than cure. Combination of all of the above in the three weeks since my (first!) facial has improved things alot.

professional advice (spa skin therapist in my case) good idea to get clued up.
