Benefits
Helped even out redness from old acne. Smooth lines slightly.
Drawbacks
Lots of flaking / peeling of skin around mouth, chin, jaw.

This product worked wonderfully to reduce the redness of my skin from old acne. It also appeared to "smooth" the fine lines slightly. However, without much luck in reducing my acne, my dermatologist then prescribed spironolactone and it has been a MIRACLE worker for my acne. With the application of both prescriptions, my face is finally coming around. I had tried everyting on the face of the earth...every cream, benzoil peroxide, salaycilic acid, antibiotics, Accutane TWICE, birth control pills. Nothing worked except for the spironolactone perscription.
Conclusions
Use retin a micro for skin smoothness and spironolactone for prevention of acne.
