Dries your skin...easily fixed

Details
For the past few years my acne has started to get really bad...big, nasty bumps that never seemed to go away. I tried everything; home remedies, store brands, even some expensive brands from Macys, but nothing seemed to work. So when I shopping around one day I stumbled upon a kiosk that was selling proactiv, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Now, they say to try it once a day for the first 3-5 days to acclimate your skin to the medication. After only a few weeks the stuff started to work! My skin looked healthier, and even some of my old scars started to lighten up. But after a week of using it 2x a day, my skin started to dry and peel like crazy.

At first I thought I thought I was using too much too fast, but then I realized all I needed was a good oil-free moisturizer (I finally realized the repairing lotion wasn't a moisturizer at all). I was about to shell out $27 bucks for the Proactiv brand when the sales lady told me I can use any other brand as long as its oil-free. After a few days, the dryness has gone away completely and my skin looks great!

Now, let me warn you guys; I do still get pimples. This stuff will never prevent you from getting acne 100%. But it will make them go away faster and without the scars that normally happen. It must also be used together on your whole face (not as a spot treatment), and has to be used consistently to work.

Just remember, there is no miracle cure for acne. It's like exercising; you can't work out for two weeks and expect the weight you lost to never come back. You have to stay on top of things if you want to enjoy good looking skin. I guess that's why they call it proactiv.

Conclusions
overall a good product, the best one I've ever used.
