Skin Care Review: Rodan and Fields Unblemish

by Anonymous

Rating
Excellent

Benefits
Made skin smooth by reducing the bumpiness caused by upraised/pus filled acne.

Drawbacks
Drys slight. Recommend buying a non medicated moisterizer like Aveeno Daily Radiance.

Details
This full sized 3-product line (cleanser, toner, and medicated moisterizer) is the do-all result producing line. I never suffered with acne until medical school and then horribly broke out. I tried Aveeno, Lo'real, clear pores, and proactiv (which did help but I will tell you why I switched to this rodan and fields product).

Being in medical school and learning about histology and biochemistry I was able to look up academic articles from official dermatology journals on the main ingredients in these products (the ones listed with priority)…the combination of these ingredients promote cell death of your acne, regeneration of acne free skin, attempts to sooth dry skin, and help ingredients to help other ingredients to penetrate beyond your epidermis to your dermis.

If interested in researching ingredients, search engine the key phrase “dermatologist (insert ingredient name here)”. I looked up Sulfur, Witch Hazel, Arginine, Glycolic Acid (to see why it wasn’t a major ingredient anymore), and Ethoxydiglycol. Remember to always do research and read scholarly articles from journals based on research.

Good Luck!

Conclusions
See above. Rodan and Fields have done their research!
