My experience with acne-prescription Accutane was interesting. Not only did it effectively improve my long-term struggle with acne, but improved the overall elasticity and smoothness of my skin. Pores were minimized and there was a positive tautness to my skin. My skin peeled for the initial first month, but after that the benefits were apparent. Accutane can be very toxic to some people, especially those vulnerable to depression. Accutane will cause severe birth defects and should not be used by anyone pregnant or contemplating pregancy. Accutane must be prescribed by a doctor, and must be filled immediately at the pharmacy. You will have to sign a contract confirming you are aware of these potential complications. My skin has never looked better.
