Skin Care Review: Perricone clear skin prescription (book)

have to follow the diet
Until I read this book, I was in denial about how my diet was affecting my skin. I started having problems with acne when I turned 20. Now at 27, I have it under control. My skin is not perfect like the book cover promises, but it is dramtically better. I've tried many products, but none produced results like changing my diet.
Dr P acts like the diet he suggests is revolutionary, but really its a low carb/low glycemic diet with lots of omega 3. I eat a low carb diet, drink tons of water, avoid caffeine, and take fish oil supplements. And that's what works for me.
He has a section on supplements...a long list of supplements. I bought these supplements (very expensive to get them all), and found their affect (if any) is little compared to the diet. I take a multi and call it a day!!
Since I started the program one month ago with minimal cheating: My skin is clearer, the circles under my eyes are gone, and I lost 5 pounds, so I'm happy!
Read the book if the diet appeals to you, don't spend your money on supplements or creams.
