I am 31 years old. I have normal skin (not oily or dry). My skin is very fair. My facial skin is clear, part of which I attribute to Accutane. I am writing about Afirm because it's a GREAT exfoliant. An esthetician turned me on to it as an alternative to Retin A because it's not as harsh. (Afirm contains Retinol.) I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin when I started using it. It really smoothed it out. I had to go through a short phase of itchyness and minor breakouts (bumps, not really acne) but it was worth it. I started using it all over my body. I noticed a big difference in my chest and how smooth it felt. I think it's a great product to use to prepare your skin for a bleaching cream. It really gets rid of the top layers. The price is right. You don't need a prescription. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the "end all, be all" product because the active ingredient isn't Tretinoin/Retin A.....which is what rebuilds collagen. Jennifer Connelly Atlanta, GA
