Skin Care Review: Dermalogica Power Rich

by Fanny

Rating
Excellent

lasts about two months--still a splurge, as it was my wedding, I didn't feel too

Drawbacks
used it was my wedding, I didn't feel too

Details
I absolutely love Power Rich. My esthetician gave me a sample two years ago and I was just blown away. I had never used a product that produced such results--it plumped and firmed my skin and my fine lines all but disappeared--some of them did disappear! (although I am only 30.) And although very lightweight--it smoothed into skin without any tugging--it was the richest and most lasting moisturizer that I had ever used. I was soooo enchanted--I remember raving to my now husband until he said laughing, "I am glad you like your new cream, but can we talk about something else?"

Power Rich is very pricey--it is sold as a box of five metal tubes, to keep it as fresh as possible. The box contains only 1.5 OZ total and costs between $130.00 (the cheapest price online) and $175.00 (at most salons.) I decided to buy a box, which says something, as I live month to month. I kept three tubes and gave two as presents. That has been my habit since. So far every recipient has loved it, especially my 60 year old mother, who doesn't usually enthuse about such things. She loves it so much that I have given her a tube every holiday since and she is always delighted.

Dermalogica recommends using Power Rich as your primary lotion both day and night. I cannot afford to do that--even my estheticians can't. I just use it at night on areas that need the most attention, but it still helps a great deal. This way a tube lasts about two months--still a splurge, but worth it. The week before my wedding I used it as directed and that cost, oh, $40.00. The results were marvelous--and as it was my wedding, I didn't feel too guilty--but I could *never* do that every day. It is worth every penny--but who has that many pennies?

Conclusions
but I could *never* do that every day. It is pennies?
