Skin Care Review: Dermalogics Rejuvinol

by C.Arroya, San Paolo, Brazil

Rating
Adverse Effects

Benefits
If you clean out the jars, they're nice for paper clips, safety pins, etc.

Drawbacks
False claims. Can cause skin reactions. Poor customer service.

Details
I bought this product over the internet a few months ago. At the time they were running a "buy two get one free" special. A couple friends went in together to reduce the cost. Neither of the other two saw any noticeable effect after several weeks. I noticed one of my jars had arrived slightly liquified on top... I was apprehensive about using it, but went ahead with it anyway. My entire face immediately broke out in tiny, bright red bumps and I discontinued using it. I've never had a reaction to any product before so I think they better do something about their storage conditions or at least seal the jars. All three of us are still waiting for a refund (minus our shipping and a 25% "administration fee". They bury that little tidbit pretty deep in their ads." My dermatologist says virtually all these miracle anti-wrinkle creams are a scam and they're so busy dealing with patients asking about these hyped-up internet creams or treating the adverse effects that they are taking up the time of patients with more serious dermatological problems. According to the doctor, none of these hyped ingredients have any clinical studies to support them. Hyaluronic Acid, for example, has no benefit in a topical form in clinical studies and the same is true for Argiriline. In fact, there is mounting evidence that extended use of Argiriline can cause facial sagging. NO THANK YOU!

Conclusions
Stay away from internet anti-wrinkle miracle cures!
