Skin Care Review: Renova 0.05%

by K, GA

If used per instructions, slight surface wrinkles will diminish. Also smooths the skin.

Drawbacks include prescription-only status and slight skin peeling.

All in all a good product that works for fine lines and small wrinkles. I am 35 with good skin that is normal to dry. I have fine lines around my eyes and this has all but made them disappear completely. It must be used every night per instructions -wash face, wait 10 minutes, apply sparingly, to see results. Will dry out the skin and cause minor peeling and flaking. A separate moisturizer is recommended to counteract dryness. Expensive between doctor's visit to obtain the prescription and then prescription itself. However, a large tube should last 6-8 months.

Recommended if you have tried everything else and want something for fine lines.
