Skin Care Review: Janson Beckett DermaExcel 7

by MafaldaMay, Montreal Canada

Rating
Excellent

Benefits
The claim : relaxes the muscles of stubborn and hard-to-remove wrinkles.

Drawbacks
The price perhaps (depending on where the product is bought).

Details
I am a 33-year old woman with sensitive combination skin, who lost lots of weight over the past year. Although I do not have lots of wrinkles yet, I nevertheless have a few deep ones, notably one between my eyebrows, a few on my forehead and one on each side of my mouth. On top of that, the weightloss resulted in my jawline slightly starting to sag... So, my 2006 resolution was to take greater care of my skin. I always drank lots of water, but now I eat better (my own version of Dr. Perricone's diet), I get more sleep every night, I take vitamins... and I purchased key anti-wrinkle products, on top of mixing my own.

My daily regimen is a mixture of Janson Beckett products (morning and night: cleansing milk, AH3 Skin Prep, AlphaDerma CE, Derma Excel 7), N.V. Perricone (morning: Vitamin C Ester Amine Complex, ALA Eye therapy and Face Lipid Replenishment; night: ALA Evening Facial Emollient, Vitamin C Ester Eye Therapy and Face Lipid Replenishment) and some homemade products that I describe below.

At night, to ensure all make-up is removed, I use non-perfumed baby oil gel before the cleasing milk and a homemade toner made with non-coated aspirin disolved in green and chamomille tea.

Every week, I do a home facial: 15-minute steaming, then microdermabrasion with the NeoStrata Kit (which is amazing), then I apply a homemade aspiring mask (a few aspirins disolved in honey, aloe vera gel, olive oil and green tea extract). To soothe my skin aftewards, I apply a homemade oatmeal mask, in which I add some almond oil and a mixed-tocotrienol gel cap.

I started doing all that 30 days ago. Needless to say, my skin is absolutely glowing!

The DermaExcel 7 is doing exactly what it says: the deep lines I was fighting against were almost gone within a few days. Of course, at first, if I didn't use the products for a day or two, the lines came were coming back, but never as bad as they were. A month later though, I started using the product only at night, and I even will not use it a few nights in a row and the lines remain erased... Either there is along term action to this product, or it's the other ones I am using that are starting to kick in. Nevertheless, let us not forget that the lines would come back with Botox... and DermaExcel is a much cheaper and totally painless way of achieving same, and perhaps even better results. My 63 year-old mother is also using this product and I can see her lines vanish in front of my eyes.

Personally, I don't plan on continually using this product. I will let my other anti-wrinkle products do their more underground, long-term preventive and corrective work (especially AlphaDerma CE, which contains argireline and other peptides) for the duration of the Derma Excel botle (I think it should last me about a year, perhaps more. It all depends on how many stubborn wrinkles are on one's face). But it remains an essential product for those who wish to see immediate changes. On pictures, I do not look 33 anymore, but rather 24... And that's only in a single month of using the product!

Conclusions
An amazing, almost instant wrinkle eraser. Well worth every penny.
