This cleanser removes more makeup than Cetaphil. It exfoliates a little because it contains small uniform sized beads, a positive as opposed to irregular or scratching exfoliants with uneven beads. It warms A LOT when you rub it on your face or in your hands. It gets almost hot--too hot in my opinion, but that only lasts a few seconds. I do know that facial skin, especially sensitive skin like mine, can get irritated by warm or hot water, and this product probably gets too hot to be applied directly to face. I always rub in my hands first to get rid of the warming. I haven't noticed an increase in redness or general skin irritation like I have experienced with nearly any other cleanser, however, but I only use every other day.

Conclusions
Good but not for every day if you are sensitive-skinned.
