Skin Care Review: Clinique Extra Mild Cleanser

by Lesley

No effect

Very Gentle

Doesn't remove your makeup. Your towel will be coated with makeup after you dry your face.

This product doesn't work. I realize that the idea of this product is to be gentle but this one simply doesn't remove your makeup. I even use a soft sponge to apply. It is difficult to rinse (your face feels rather slimy) and you will notice that your towel is covered in makeup once you dry your face. This product was given to me as a gift. I usually use the gentle formulation which lathers up but thought I might try this one over the dry winter instead. It also requires that you use more of it to spread over your face. Usually, I use one pump of the gentle foaming cleanser, this one needs three, therefore, you are using far more of it for poorer results.

If you like Clinique buy the gentle cleanser instead.
