Skin Care Review: Clinique 3 step system

by Allie

Adverse Effects

drying, irritating, and expensive

At first, the Clinique system seemed to work quite well. I have very dry skin that is extremely prone to breakouts. During the first few days of use, my pimples started going away and my skin felt really smooth. However, after those first few days, my skin became visibly dry, and I was breaking out like crazy. Also, unlike my normal pimples, these blemishes were more painful and turned blotchy red. The clinique consultants said this was normal, but after a couple weeks of use, there was no improvement. If you have dry skin or skin prone to dryness, this is not the product for you. After all, the toner consists mainly of alcohol.

Might benefit more oily skin.
