Skin Care Review: Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser

by Sue, Phoenix, AZ

No effect

Excellent gentle cleanser as long as makeup removal not required.

Seemed to dry skin a bit more than expected.

I used Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser since it was a water-soluble cleanser that claimed to clean without drying it out or leaving it feeling greasy. But I found alcohol was a primary ingredient afterall, and my face felt very very dry at times. I live in Phoenix so skin care is obviously very important, so now I am looking for additional or alternative methods of cleansing. Also, this particular brand does not remove make-up very well, but I understand they now have a different product for that.

For me, not good as a daily cleanser as was a bit too drying.
