Skin Care Review: Clinique 3-step System

by Anonymous, Cambridge Canada

Adverse Effects

Pretty packaging, the soap does an ok job for cleansing the face.

No results, toner contains alcohol, moisturizing lotion smells horrible.

This 3-step system seems to be really outdated. The packaging is pretty, but the soap dish and soap get dirty, plus not very hygenic if you have to keep putting the soap between your hands and then wash your face. I felt that it dried out my skin horribly, then follwed with the toner which contains alcohol, it's a disaster. The moisturizing lotion smells horrific and basically felt like I was putting Crisco on my skin. After giving this system numerous chances, being told by the sales people that I have to mix and match the products for my skin type, this was a big waste of money and time. Each time after using these products for a week, I got horrible breakouts.

An extremely overpriced system which delivers no results.
