Skin Care Review: DHC Cleansing Oil

by A.E, ny, NY USA

I've never been into make up but always more with skin care products. I feel lucky that in general I have skin not to complain about which I also believe is hereditary and from seeing what my mother did to hers, she is an example. I have very limited amount of products that I have bought repeatedly. One thing is that, after several months (4-6months) or until product is finished, I will find a different product(usually with face moisturizer). I feel that like with hair products, once the skin gets used to the product, there is limited results thereafter so finding soemthing new and using that, will stimulate the skin better. This DHC product called DHC Cleansing Oil that I have been using along side another product called DHC Olive Oil is a repeated product for me. It clears all traces of makeup (you wash with the oil with no water, just a couple of pumps) and after washing, the skin never feels tight, overwashed or never oily. I recommended it to a friend who is really into skin products (she has combination skin)and she admitted too that it was a great product. I finish sometimes using this soap which contains honey, dark sugar and wheat but can not be bought in the US which cost only $4 dollars. Its gentle to the skin and I believe natural skin products are as well or better than those big brand name. I don't believe that to get the best results,a lot of money AND products has to be used. I believe, facial masks, and expensive cream are more phsycological and that is OK too.I tend to buy creams more because of the nice smell and putting that on before going to bed, relaxes the senses as well. The rest is common sense, eating right(what you put in your body, not what you slather on top) and sleeping can give you the best skin results.
