Details
I have combination skin with oily nose and forehead. I had tried several drugstore cleansers to get rid of my blackheads, but the ones with BHAs dried out and irritate my skin terribly. I’ve heard good things about Laventine cleansing oil for some time and finally gave it a try about 2 weeks ago, and I’m really glad I did. I bought the cleaning oil for oily/combo skin that has a soothing lavender scent. I apply two pumps on dry face with dry hands, which sounds a bit out of ordinary but I’ve got used to it by now. The oil warms up a little on the face and feels silky but not greasy, quite comforting. I massage the oil around my eyes to dissolve eye makeup, then the entire face. No foam or anything, just oil, but I can see all the makeup is melting down. Then I rinse the face with warm water, and to my amazement the oil turns milky and washes away clean! The oil is indeed water-soluble. My face is soft and smooth afterwards without feeling dry or tight. After a week or so, I noticed my blackheads disappearing and I’ve never had breakouts since! I sometimes use a toner after the cleansing oil, but most of the time I don’t have to use anything after. The cleansing oil comes in a bottle with a pump that can be twisted back to lock without being pressed down, which is very convenient for travel.

Conclusions
Laventine cleansing oil is ideal for removing blackheads and water-proof makeup.
