Skin Care Review: Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser

by E. H., Tacoma, WA, USA

Very kind to sensitive skin. Doesn't tighten skin like other products.

Doesn't cure acne.

When I use cleansers made to fight acne, my face always feels tight, irritated, and itchy. My forehead is very pimple-y and my skin very sensitive. I'm very pleased with Aveeno. It usually requires 2 pumps to get enough foam, however. This cleanser is very gentle on my face and comes off with no residue. It won't cure your acne, but it won't leave your face feeling overdry and irritated either. In the end, there is little redness as compared with other cleansers I've used, running the gamut from Olay cloths and Acne Free to Clean n'Clear and Biore. Great cleanser, gentle on the face, kind to the acne the first time through.

Great for those who have sensitive skin and who want a gentle cleanser.
