This is an exfoliating cleanser with soy and Vitamin C and a barely noticeable pleasant scent. It's a gentle scrubbing lotion that leaves my skin very smooth. It isn't coarse like some exfoliants so you don't feel like you're destroying your skin. After two weeks of using this morning and evening every day, and combined with the VisiblyEven daily moisturizer, I can tell my brown spots are definitely fading, my overall skin tone seems more even and the texture is smoother. The main reason I wanted to try the VisiblyEven line was to lighten brown spots so the improved skin tone and texture are a bonus!
