Skin Care Review: DCL AHA Revitalizing Lotion

by Melissa, New York, NY USA

Rating
Excellent

Benefits
Promotes skin cell turn-around, evens out skin tone, controls breaksouts, inexpensive

Drawbacks
can cause redness or peeling until skin "adjusts"

Details
I am young 51 year old with sensitive and oily/combination skin, once prone to breakouts. While shopping for cosmetics at Bloomingdales 15 years ago, I asked one of the saleswoman there what the secret of her beautiful skin was. She referred me to her dermatologist from whom I first purchased this product. When I started using it, it caused my skin to peel slightly to moderately and get a little pink in places - but I persisted. Gradually, my skin tone evened out, my breakouts almost stopped completely, expression lines and very mild acne scarring diminished and my skin achieved a more radiant glow. Today, my skin is close to flawless, the oiliness is under control and people comment to me about what great skin I have. I used to apply it morning and night (in addition to an undereye serum), now I only use it in the evening and always wear sunscreen during the day. At one time, this product was only available through a dermatologist now you can also get it online. I found it better than any of the more expensive products that I tried.

Conclusions
For the price, it's definitely worth a try to see if it works for you.
